Lee Joon-gi (李準基, April 17, 1982 – ) is a South Korean actor and singer. After making his first step into the entertainment industry as an advertising model in 2001, he shot to stardom in 2005 with the role of Gong-gil in the film The King and the Clown. He subsequently appeared in dramas such as My Girl, Iljimae, Arang and the Magistrate, Gunman in Joseon, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Flower of Evil, and Again My Life, establishing himself as an actor representing the Korean Wave. He is evaluated for his uniquely delicate gaze acting, dazzling action performance, and broad acting spectrum that moves between period dramas and contemporary dramas.

He was born in Busan and moved to Seoul, where he spent his school years. From childhood, he set his mind on acting and entered the Department of Acting at Seoul Institute of the Arts; while enrolled, he built his career through various auditions and minor roles. Debut and The King and the Clown

The 2005 film The King and the Clown is the work that changed Lee Joon-gi's life. In 2005–2006, he raised his public recognition by appearing in the drama My Girl, and in 2008, he played the righteous outlaw Iljimae of the Joseon era in Iljimae, handling both action and melodrama. In the 2020 tvN drama Flower of Evil, he played Baek Hee-seong, a detective whose father was a murderer, delicately expressing paternal love and identity confusion and establishing a new turning point in his acting career. In 2022, he gave a passionate performance as Kim Hee-woo, who stands against absolute evil, in Again My Life, once again capturing both viewership ratings and topicality.
