Overview
The Life Second Half Festival (인생후반전 페스티벌) is a multidisciplinary cultural festival designed primarily for middle-aged and "new middle-aged" generations around the time of retirement, allowing them to experience second-life planning, new challenges, intergenerational exchange, and cultural enjoyment in a single venue. Going beyond a simple senior expo, it has established itself as a "life-transition festival" model that combines lectures, performances, hands-on experiences, and networking, with the goal of redefining later life in an aging society not as a time of consumption and passive leisure but as a period of active challenge and creation.

Korea entered the super-aged society in 2025, and with the large-scale retirement of the baby boomer generation (born 1955–1963) continuing, how to design a "second life" has become a social topic. Amid these demographic changes, the Life Second Half Festival was planned so that the middle-aged can explore new careers, hobbies, relationships, health, and financial planning in one place.
