Overview
V-Profile (V프로필) is a platform that creates and manages the digital identity of virtual influencers, and integrally supports AI-based content creation and social media operation. It was developed by the domestic startup 'Virtual Wave' in 2023 and officially launched in 2024, combining metaverse and generative AI technologies to manage the entire lifecycle of virtual influencers. V-Profile allows users to create unique virtual characters without requiring separate 3D modeling or programming knowledge, and through this, helps them perform various activities such as brand collaborations, live broadcasts, and fan communication.

The core feature of V-Profile is that users can easily create their own virtual influencers. The platform provides various pre-made 3D avatar templates, and users can fine-tune details such as face shape, hairstyle, clothing, and accessories. Additionally, through AI-based face generation technology, it supports a function that automatically generates a similar virtual face based on an uploaded photo of a real person. The created avatar can express natural facial expressions and movements through a real-time rendering engine, and users can control the avatar with just a microphone and webcam.

It also includes a 'Content Assistant' that utilizes generative AI to automatically write dialogues, blog posts, and social media captions for the virtual influencer.

V-Profile supports integration with major social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch. Users can simultaneously upload content to multiple platforms from a single dashboard and manage comments and messages in an integrated manner. Additionally, through AI-based analysis tools, it monitors follower reactions, watch time, and engagement rates in real-time, and recommends optimal posting times and content topics.
4. Brand Collaboration and Monetization Support
V-Profile provides various features for monetizing virtual influencers. Through an in-platform marketplace, it matches brands with virtual influencers and handles everything from collaboration proposal writing, contract management, to settlement in one stop. It also supports a system where virtual influencers can receive gifts or donations from viewers during live broadcasts, and a digital goods sales function using NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
5. Security and Identity Management
V-Profile has introduced a blockchain-based identity authentication system to securely protect the digital identity of virtual influencers. Each virtual influencer is assigned a unique digital ID, and all activity records are stored on a distributed ledger to prevent forgery. Additionally, users' personal information and avatar data are encrypted and stored, designed so that third parties cannot access them without user consent.

In 2024, V-Profile is rapidly growing alongside the advancement of generative AI technology. Notably, in the second half of 2024, an 'AI Live Chat' function was introduced in conjunction with OpenAI's GPT-4o, allowing virtual influencers to engage in natural real-time conversations. This enables virtual influencers to show more human-like responses in communication with viewers. Additionally, in early 2025, official partnerships were signed with the metaverse platforms 'Zepeto' and 'Roblox', allowing avatars created with V-Profile to be used on those platforms as well. Accordingly, the global virtual influencer market is expected to grow to $50 billion by 2025, and V-Profile has secured over 1 million users domestically and internationally, establishing itself as a major player.
