Shipped My Side Project After 6 Months

I finally deployed the side project I started late last year. Doing it solo really takes a long time.

I started with Next.js at first, but when I added the backend I scrapped everything and rebuilt it, and the stack eventually settled on this:

  • Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind
  • Backend: FastAPI
  • DB: Supabase
  • Deployment: Vercel + Railway

What I learned while building it: if you try to make it perfect, you'll never finish. The answer is to make it work first, then fix it.

I still have zero users, but I'm proud of it haha.
