My wrist keeps hurting—could it be carpal tunnel syndrome?
I usually use the computer about 10 hours a day, and recently my wrist and the area around my thumb have been tingling. Especially when I wake up in the morning, my hand feels numb? I'm wondering what tests they run at the hospital before going, and whether anyone has seen improvement through stretching.

Yeah, if you have those symptoms, it's highly likely it's early-stage tunnel syndrome. Go to the hospital and get a diagnosis.
Well, it's too early to say for sure. If it's just your wrist, that's lucky, but it could be a neck disc or another nerve issue. When you go to the hospital, they'll run tests like a nerve conduction study, so don't worry too much—just go and see.
I also code 12 hours a day, and I had the same symptoms last year. Morning numbness is often an early sign of carpal tunnel syndrome. At the hospital, I got a nerve conduction test, and stretching only helped a little when it already hurt. Personally, wearing a wrist brace and changing my mouse position worked the best. I'm fine now, so seeing a doctor is the answer.
