Once Again Heard in Today's Meeting, "Can't We Just Use AI for This?"
They were asking why it takes two days to write a planning doc, saying running ChatGPT would only take five minutes... I really wish that person would try it themselves.

Agreed... that frustration only those who've tried it know.
I've heard the same thing. When you ask AI to 'write me a project plan,' it just spits out plausible-sounding fluff, and none of our team's situation, schedule, or stakeholders get reflected at all. In the end, I spend half a day stuffing context into the prompt, then another full day ripping apart and reworking the draft it gives me. Forget 5 minutes—it's magic that turns a 5-minute result into 5 hours lol.
But if you look at it the other way, it's not like that person is completely wrong—the time it takes to produce a first draft has definitely gone down. The problem is assuming that a 'draft' equals a 'finished product.' I see it as an issue of expectations, not the tool.
