My savings matured: where should I put it now?
My 3-year savings plan has finally matured. Interest rates aren’t what they used to be, so it’s awkward to just renew it.
I’m torn between parking it in a high-yield savings account for a while, or splitting it into bonds or ETFs. What is everyone doing these days?

For now, parking it in a high-yield savings account is the safe move. No need to rush the decision.
I'm in the same boat, so I'm saving this post 😢 I'll be picking up some info from it.
As the people above said, keeping idle funds separate from investment funds is better for your mental health. If you try to put the entire matured amount somewhere all at once, your judgment gets clouded. I put six months' worth of living expenses in a parking account, and split the rest evenly between a short-term bond ETF and reinvesting in installment savings. It’s a boring choice if you look only at returns, but I don’t regret it.
