I'm in my 3rd year of housing subscription savings: should I keep paying into it?
I've been putting in 100,000 won a month for three years now, but forget winning—my points don't even seem to go up much, and it's getting depressing.
People around me say, 'You still need to have the account,' but with housing prices these days, I wonder if aiming for a 30-pyeong place even makes sense.
Has anyone else been struggling with the same question? What are you doing? Is just keeping it the answer?

Three years is about when you'd finally have something built up—what a waste haha. I'm in my 7th year and still keeping it going. The scariest part is that if I break into the savings account, it starts over from zero.
If it’s 100,000 won a month, that’s 1.2 million won a year—what can you expect from that? I raised mine to 250,000 won. Increasing the amount doesn’t directly affect your points, but it gives you more breathing room when planning your finances after you win.
Well, that whole “you have to have a subscription account” thing... It’s not like it’s something you can resell, so I feel like it’s just an obsession. How about lowering the goal of aiming for a 30-pyeong place in the first place?
I’m in my third year too, and I related so much I had to comment ㅠ I’m aiming for special supply and just holding on for now. Honestly, I don’t think it’s realistic to compete on general supply points.
