Why is individual payment for Midjourney so hard lol
Every time I try to register a card, I get a payment error, and even turning on a VPN doesn't work. I gave up and I'm using Bing Image Creator instead. The free version is decent enough.

Agreed, Bing's images are better than expected.
Got a source? I might give it a try too.
I'm also super annoyed by card errors.
For Midjourney payments, PayPal tends to work better than a personal card. Give it a try.
I also spent 3 hours on that. Turns out the card's country setting was the problem. If it's a Korean card, you shouldn't set the billing address to the US—it has to be your actual address. Once I changed that, it worked right away.
Well, that's a bit... Midjourney doesn't actually block Korean cards. If anything, turning on a VPN often gets your payment rejected. Try turning off the VPN.
Oh, I didn't know this.
Bing is good, but if you want truly high quality, Midjourney is the way to go. The problem is the payment, though. Running Stable Diffusion locally is also an option, if your computer specs can handle it.
The payment error is probably because the card company blocked overseas transactions. You can enable overseas payments in the banking app. That's how I fixed it.
