If you're low on vitamin D, my drowsiness noticeably dropped within 2 weeks
I got tested because of chronic fatigue, and my vitamin D level was less than half the normal range. It's been two weeks since I switched supplements, and my afternoon drowsiness has clearly decreased and I feel clearer in mood. If you have trouble getting up in the morning and feel sluggish all day, I'd recommend getting a vitamin D test.

Yeah, I also felt refreshed after taking vitamin D.
Yeah, I also got tested last year and mine was 8.9. I guess it's because I don't get much sunlight. Taking supplements regularly definitely made a difference in my fatigue. But it takes a while for the levels to recover, so you need to take them for at least 3 months.
Well, isn't that just a placebo? I've tried it too and didn't feel any effect.
Oh, I didn't know that. I've been dealing with chronic fatigue too, so I should get my vitamin D levels checked. Which hospital do you get it done at? It's usually not included in regular health checkups.
If your level was less than half the normal range, it would have been a serious deficiency, but it's hard to believe that your drowsiness dropped so significantly in just two weeks. Since vitamin D is fat-soluble and accumulates in the body, I know it takes at least a month for blood levels to rise. What you felt could be due to other factors.
