Summarized a Guide for All 11 Starting Members by Growth Item
It's been a month since Rise Season 3 started. I organized growth paths that fit each starting member's traits.
1. Top - If you're squishy, an early Rune Potion and building bulk are mandatory. If you just survive laning phase before your two-item powerspike, the game opens up, so it's surprisingly efficient.
2. Jungle - Experience items got buffed this patch, so the gambling item was actually better for the first wave. However, you can't respond to counter-ganks until level 3.
3. Mid - Mixing in one hybrid item is better than going full damage. Especially on champions with high mana costs, early lane sustain decides the game.
4. ADC - Statistically, building attack speed first has a 58% win rate. Given the critical strike activation condition, you should always go attack speed first.
5. Support - If you pull the vision item upgrade timing earlier than 12 minutes, the whole team gets much better mid-roaming angles.
For reference, the most OP starting item this season is the gambling item, so if it's not banned or picked in pro broadcasts, take it. The writer has a 62% win rate in Master.

Oh, I didn't know this lol
Got a source? What's the basis for those statistics?
Gambling items are total scams lol
Rushing a vision item before 12 minutes only matters if your team follows up. In solo queue, even if you place it at that timing, if the jungler never clears the ward, it's just a waste of gold lol. And with a 62% win rate in Master, I'm curious how big the sample size is.
If the win rate for pre-building attack speed items on AD carries is 58%, isn't there a chance the stats are skewed? In low tiers, you often get blown up before you can even deal damage in a fight, making it pointless. There were times when survival items or defensive options were the better call.
The top lane squishy rune + potion combo is really good. I also used it a lot this season to survive lane and make comebacks. However, the gank success rate before two core items is lower than you'd think, so it seems important to tell your jungler in advance that this is a survive-the-lane game. I also agree with the mid hybrid point.
