Please improve the baseball game AI lol

Yeah, the AI typing is really too nosy.

That's right lol, if you just throw breaking balls, they'll hit them all.

I'm going crazy over this too, but it got a bit better when I mostly stuck with fastballs and only mixed in sliders that dive low and away. Try changing up the timing.

Well, wouldn't that be more of a difficulty adjustment than a bug? Early in the season, AI batters are usually set to have good plate discipline, and sometimes patches loosen that up. No basis for this, but it's been that way for a while.

What's the source? If it's a bug, the developers should have acknowledged it.

I actually think the opposite. The AI doesn't just lay off breaking balls—it varies its timing, sometimes slowing down and sometimes speeding up, which makes it really hard to adjust. Especially when you run a slider in on the hands, it will occasionally swing and miss, so I think attacking that spot is the key. The catch is that the AI keeps hitting the same patterns, so you should clearly change your pitch mix by count. After two strikes, I've been throwing forkballs, and that has worked for me.
