My Housing Subscription Account Has Hit 5 Years: Should I Keep Contributing?

I've been consistently depositing 100,000 won a month, but I don't see any sign of being selected. Some people around me say I should put that money to work elsewhere, while others say I'll regret it later if I close the account.

Would it be better to reduce the amount now, even at this point?

If it's 5 years, that's still cute lol. I've been doing it for 11 years and never got selected once. But if you break it, you'll really regret it. It's better to think of savings and your housing subscription as separate things.
