Looking at dramas I've watched recently, AI characters are increasingly appearing not just as supporting roles but as lead-level characters. In the past, this was the kind of setup you'd only expect in sci-fi, but now they're being depicted as beings capable of emotional connection.
According to director interviews, it's because technological advances mean AI is no longer the distant future—it's already intertwined with our daily lives. I was especially amazed while watching the conversation scenes, since the dialogue felt plausible to a certain degree.
Maybe the day will really come when AI assistants become a common part of everyday life? When that day arrives, I think conversations will become truly convenient.
