How should I get started with AI education for my elementary school child?
My child recently enjoys getting homework help from ChatGPT, but it's just copying down the answers, so I feel like I can't leave it as is.
1. Have them write prompts themselves
2. Build a habit of verifying AI answers
3. Start coding with block-based coding
I'm thinking of taking this direction. If anyone has experience with what programs or methods were effective at the elementary level, I'd appreciate your advice.

For elementary school kids, I think it’s better to approach things through play rather than coding. Block coding still involves sitting down, so they lose interest quickly.
My kid was the same, and No. 2 is really important. I had the AI deliberately give wrong answers and turned it into a game where my kid had to find them, and after that, their attitude toward homework changed completely. It was way more effective than just asking 'Is this right?' and leaving it at that.
Point 2 is the key, but for early elementary students, the concept of verification itself is hard to understand. Shouldn't the first step be to just let them experience firsthand that AI can be wrong?
