People who open their laptops on the hellish commute train are impressive
This morning, the person next to me was standing and coding on a laptop.
I respect you... but what was kind of funny was that everyone was sneaking glances at the screen.

Coding while standing really puts you in a trance lol. I get dizzy just looking at my phone while standing.
Well, is that really such a big deal? I've seen it a few times, and most of the time it seems like they're spreading it out just to show off to others. If it were really that urgent, I doubt they'd do that even on the subway instead of going into a cafe or an office.
True, I really respect subway coders.
But using a laptop while standing really wrecks your back. I did that a few times too and ended up with back problems, so I stopped. If you're in a hurry, it's better to at least take notes on your phone.
